How to install a gasket

Installing a commercial refrigeration gasket is usually straightforward. Most cooler door seals are snap-in, push-in, or screw-retained.

Steps to install a cooler door gasket

1. Remove the old gasket carefully (pry snap-in darts or loosen retainer screws).
2. Clean the door channel of debris and old adhesive.
3. Start at a corner and seat the dart evenly around the perimeter.
4. Close the door and check for even seal contact on all sides.
